If Manitoba Pension Plan Funds Invested in a Winnipeg Subway Rapid Transit

1983 Winnipeg Transit ad: “Jump on a bus”
Anyone older than about 30 years will most likely remember this catchy local television ad from 1983 for Winnipeg Transit.
Notice that back then, the transit operators (aka the bus driver) wore a uniform consisting of a blazer, tie, dress shirt, and donned a cap. Today some operators don tattoos on their arms instead.

Easy Access
More than a quarter century ago, Mr. Putnam, my Grade 10 urban geography teacher at Kelvin, emphasized the importance of “easy access” to city amenities.
